Devotional:
There are moments when prayer comes easily—when the words flow, the emotions are strong, and you feel deeply connected to God.

And then there are moments when… nothing comes. No words. No clarity. Just silence, confusion, or exhaustion.

If you’ve ever sat in that space, unsure what to say to God, Romans 8:26 is good news: “We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us…” Even when your prayers feel broken, incomplete, or silent, the Holy Spirit is praying for you.

Prayer was never about impressing God with perfect words—it’s about drawing near to Him with an open heart. He already knows what you need. He’s not disappointed by your silence. He meets you in it.

Sometimes the most powerful prayer is just showing up. Sitting in God’s presence. Crying without words. Whispering His name. Letting your heart be known—even if you can’t explain it.

Faith in Action:
Set a timer for 5–10 minutes today. Sit quietly with God—no agenda, no words required. Just be still and aware of His presence.
Write a one-sentence prayer—even if it’s as simple as “Help me” or “I don’t know what to say.”

Prayer:
God, I don’t always have the words. Sometimes I don’t even know what I feel. Thank You for meeting me anyway. Thank You that the Holy Spirit intercedes for me in my weakness. Teach me to rest in Your presence—even in silence—and remind me that You understand my heart better than I do. Amen.
