Devotional:
It’s easy to feel like everyone else is moving faster than you. Friends are getting promoted, married, launching businesses, growing their families—and you’re still waiting. Still wondering when it will be your turn.
Comparison can make it feel like you’re falling behind. But God doesn’t run your life on a competitive timeline. He’s not watching the clock—He’s working according to His perfect plan. Ecclesiastes 3:11 reminds us: “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Not rushed. Not delayed. Beautiful—in its time.
When you measure your life by someone else’s pace, you lose sight of God’s unique path for you. What feels like delay may actually be preparation. What seems like a detour may be divine protection. God’s timing is not just different—it’s better.
You’re not late. You’re not overlooked. You’re not forgotten. You’re being led by a God who sees the full picture and knows exactly what you need, and when you need it.

Ask God to help you release comparison and trust His pace for your journey.
Faith in Action:
Take a break from social media today—especially if it fuels comparison.
Write down three ways God has been faithful in past seasons where you also felt “behind.”
Prayer:
Lord, I often feel like I’m falling behind, like everyone else is moving forward while I wait. But I trust that You see me, know me, and are guiding my life at the perfect pace. Help me let go of comparison and walk confidently in the path You’ve set for me. Make all things beautiful—in Your time. Amen.
